Dave Barker first unleashed his early DJ talent on unsuspecting newly weds and grannies and grandma's at the ripe old age of 16.
Carrying his mobile equipment around when he was 17 to various local pubs, bars and establishments gave him a taste for the high life and he knew that he wanted to see more of this......
From Mobiles to Booths.....
When Dave ended up at he university he met up with Ed Real (now of Nukleuz fame) and he helped to set up the now infamous "Vurt" on the south coast.
There, he became resident DJ and learned his trade playing to the masses.
From Vurt he met up with Jody (Way Out West, Nick Warren) and continued to flourish in clubland. After University he with a few friends embarked on a night called "Mandala" where again he was resident DJ alongsdide the likes of Blu' Peter, Jon '00' Fleming, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Smokin' Jo and Alistair Whitehead to name a few.
Along with other resident Jody and monthly collaborations with massive party outfit "Karanga", Dave appeared on the Rapture television programme.
